I have a female friend who always likes to dress until very ‘atas’ and always talks about ‘business’ opportunities to everyone she meets.
Everywhere she goes, she would always be mindful about how she carries herself and would always talk and act like she knows a lot about doing business.
More often than rather, she would always post on her social media that she attended this or that event and had met some ‘VIP’ there.
She would then post a photo which she took with the ‘VIP’ and then claim that the ‘VIP’ is her friend or her business ‘partner’ and would always end the post with a message saying that she is ‘thankful’ or ‘grateful’ for the opportunity.
She would also post some daily motivational quotes on her social media and would always invite people to look for her if they want to ‘connect’ or if they want to be a ‘partner’.
One of my friend fell for her ‘luxurious’ lifestyle
Unfortunately, one of my friend fell for whatever she was up to.
He had hit her up to ask more about what she was doing and how she manage to know so many ‘VIP’ and lead such a luxurious lifestyle.
She invited her to meet up for a talk and purposely showed up late to the meeting, apologising that she had a few ‘appointments’ beforehand.
She then brought him to her ‘office’ in the CBD area where there were a few others there to listen to their ‘motivational’ speeches.
During the speech, many other ‘leaders’ at her level took turns to talk about how grateful they were for the ‘opportunities’ which they had doing what they did and how it enabled them to be ‘financially free’.
All of them were dressed up until very ‘atas’ and it sought of bought the audience over.
At the end of the day, they all split up into smaller groups and were mostly psycho-ed to be a ‘partner’.
The catch is that to ‘join’ as a partner, they have to come up with 1000USD first which the ‘leaders’ assured them that they could earn it back within a week from joining.
Those who had doubts about being a ‘partner’ were psycho-ed even further by more and more of these ‘leaders’ who came over to press them to join.
It turns out that they were just part of a MLM scheme and eventually, their hit rate of new ‘partners’ were almost 100%.
My friend was also psycho-ed to join and part with his 1000USD and after going through their ‘trainings’, he realised what they were doing and his conscience haunted him.
He knew he was already a victim but he would rather lose his 1000 USD than bring others into the same situation as he was in.
