A TikTok user, Colleen Le (@colleeeniie), recounted her experiences with her ex-boyfriend, whom she donated her kidney to before he cheated and unceremoniously dumped her.
She posted the first of many videos detailing the story, as she captioned her video: “hope my kidney is doing great things”.
Le said that her ex-boyfriend was diagnosed with a chronic kidney disease and had been on dialysis because his kidney was functioning on less than 5%.
She then went to get a test to see if she was a compatible kidney donor and was revealed to be a perfect match, to which she then donated one of her kidneys to him.
7 months later, following the surgery, her boyfriend told her that he was going to Vegas for a bachelor’s part with his friends. When he returned, he confessed to her that he had cheated on her in Vegas.
Le then forgave him and gave him a chance, but he then broke up with her 3 months later, purportedly tellin gher that if they are “meant for each other, God will bring (them) back together in the end”.
The guy then proceeded to block her on social media and reused to answer her phone calls and messages, he even told her that “you only donated your kidney to look good”.
Colleen’s videos then went viral on TikTok and apparently caught the attention of one of her ex-boyfriend’s friends, who told her “word of advice, not everyone needs to know that you gave him your f—— kidney and y’all broke up,” before adding “gratz on graduating with a disability”.
