GIRL FORGETS TO KEEP ‘TOYS’ AWAY, PARENTS IN LAW CAME AND SAW IT

A girl shared a story of how she had a collection of ‘toys’ in her room and since she was living with her husband alone in the flat, they did not bother to keep the ‘toys’ away and out of sight.

What happened was one day her parents in law came over to live with them as it was nearer to the hospital which the grandfather in law was hospitalised in and the toy was just hanging above their heads when they came in to tell them that the grandfather in law has died.

Here is the story

“I live with my husband and few months back his parents came over to live with us because it was closer to the hospital.

At this point, my husband’s grandpa was in the hospital because of his stage 4 cancer and was going to go anytime soon.

Of course, I let them know that if they needed anything in the morning to just knock on our bedroom door.

The next morning, I hear a knock that wakes me up and I’m thinking that his mom just doesn’t know where the coffee is. I answer and she just walks right in. It’s important to note that my fiancé’s family is incredibly religious.

Because right above me on the headboard are a few of my toys including a massive 8 inch ‘cucumber’ that just didn’t make it back into the drawer after being washed a few days prior. And of course I can’t just put it away without drawing more attention to it.

Anyways, his mom goes and sits on his side of the bed and hasn’t noticed the ‘cucumber’ right above me yet. And then she breaks the news. My husband’s grandpa died.

She’s sobbing and hugging us. And then I see her look just above me. And she stares at this ‘cucumber’ for a good 30 seconds, makes awkward eye contact with me, and then immediately leaves.

She definitely prayed a little harder for us that night.”
