Hi! Need some opinions on this.
I am attached to current bf for half a year. Previously he was in a 5 year relationship with his ex.
He cheated on her and she found out so she ended things.
I just found out that while we were at 1-2months into talking stage (nothing serious yet), he was still chasing his ex back (double texting her, claims he still love her, asking her out) but the ex of course did not agree to patch. He was very much affected by it as he planned to marry her.
I am guessing because the ex did not want him back, so conveniently we became more serious and started dating?
Two months later after he stopped talking to his ex, he said he loves me.
Right now, we are in a loving relationship. He is very caring, puts in effort to plan dates, invites me for family dinners, introduce me to his friends.
But somehow I am hurt to know that he was still chasing his ex while he was talking to me.
Do you think guys will ever move on from his long relationship or he is just dating me because he could not get his ex back..
I am confused how he can say he love me so fast when he just ended things officially with his ex before getting serious with me.
