A girl shared a story on how she went on a date with a guy which she had met on a dating application and it went pretty bad.
However being the nice girl that she is, she tried to give the guy some chances to change her impression of him but said that the guy failed to change the impression which she had.
Here is the story
“I’m usually not the type to use dating apps, but I’m starting to want to pursue a relationship so I tried downloading Tinder to see how it would be. I met this guy and he was quite attractive, had a funny bio, and was looking for a relationship too.
We made small talk for a couple of days before he asked me on a date and i agreed. I knew absolutely nothing about this guy and I still agreed to go on this date.
Today, we met at a restaurant near town. Red flag one happened within seconds of the date starting as he showed up in shorts and slippers. In that moment, I should have known this wasn’t going to work out. It shows he didn’t put much thought or effort into it at all. I felt upset in that moment because I had spent a lot of time making sure I looked good.
We also just didn’t have anything in common and our interests and passions didn’t align. When I mentioned that I listen to punk music, he called it an ear sore and he is a very strong opinionated person. I just knew deep down that it would absolutely not work out, especially with how many awkward silences there were. I had an opportunity to leave but i gave him another chance.
We then started walking around the area just outside the cafe. He asked me what i was looking for in a relationship and I was quite straightforward.
I said I wanted someone who was willing to build a bond with me before diving into a super deep relationship.
He then asked me if I was religious. I was honest again and said “not really.”
That was the third mistake. he went into a 5 minute rant about his journey with religion and how religion would help me be less apprehensive.
That is when I ended the date, but I could have done so an hour and a half before that point.
