GIRL GLAD PARENTS ARE DIVORCING, NO MORE LISTENING TO THEM KPKB

A netizen shared how her parents are divorcing but while her brother was sad and cried about it, she was actually glad and happy.

Here is the story:

I’m a 15 year old girl. My parents are constantly fighting and at each other’s throats. I’m not close to either of them, and have no idea how they can even breathe in such a horrible relationship.

Yesterday they told my brother (13) and I that they’re getting a divorce. My brother was really sad about it and actually cried. I couldn’t be happier.

Finally I won’t have to listen to their complaining for hours and hours.

Take this from a soon to be child of divorce, don’t stay together just for your kids. It doesn’t do any good. If you hate your spouse just get a divorce and try to treat each other like human beings.

For now, I’m just glad that I can look forward to some peace.

Netizens comments

  • unhappy marriages are soo annoying to go through. my parents have been divorced for around a year now, its WAY better
  • Good; glad you’re getting it. I’m a 50 year old man. My parents are both fairly young for older people (70) and get along well, but got divorced when I was 5. There were literal decades of bad blood between them, court cases, other spouses, and division between myself and my father. Now, everyone gets along great, but the thought of having grown up with them staying married is a nightmare.
  • You have no idea how right you truly are. Mine stayed together and are the most toxic couple I’ve ever seen. They openly belittle one another. It’s sad and pathetic. Anyway…. I’m glad that you will be able to find some peace and I hope nothing but the best for you. You’re a smart cookie. Keep your wits about you and you’ll be just fine in this lifetime. All the best to you, sweetie!
