Male colleague texts me everyday even though I have a bf
I’m a female. Last year I was shortlisted by my boss to work on a few months project with other dept colleagues. During the project, I became close with a male colleague. Ever since we get close he text me almost everyday to chat. We can chat everything under the sun.
It has been 1 year already. Now I crave for his text, if I did not receive his text, I miss him a lot. I wonder why he did not text me that day, is it cos he is too busy.
Sometimes I wonder why he put in so much effort to keep the conversation going with me. I try to find out if he likes me. But I think the answer is no. Is he bored? I think yes, but he can always find another person to chat also right?
I wanted to stop the daily texting with him. But I have already enjoy his text so much that if I ignore his text, I will hurt myself emotionally. He is a nice guy. I will hurt him as well. I believe no one wants to be ignored when u text the person right?
The reason why I want to stop the daily texting is because he is not my bf, hence I do not wish to continue but I also enjoy his attention when he text me haha. Anyone experience the same thing? How do u manage?
