GIRL GOT DUMPED AFTER GUY “GETS HER”, GUY’S REASON: “SHE WANTS PLAY AROUND WASTE TIME THEN THAT’S ALL SHE’S GOOD FOR”

my Telegram group chat is currently split on whether I’m a legend or a toxic a-hole. Personally? I think it’s just pure karma.

Met this girl online a while back. Standard modern dating scene in SG—super high maintenance, want the boyfriend perks but don’t want the commitment. One day she’s super into me, next day she’s colder than the aircon in Plaza Singapura. Total mixed signals, serious but not serious at the same time, playing mind games 24/7.

Then she hits me up asking to go to this concert. Tickets not cheap, okay? Hard to camp for some more. Because I was still quite into her at the time, I went ahead and booked the tickets. The moment I secured them and told her, bam, suddenly change face. Start giving all sorts of pattern-more-than-badminton excuses. “Eh sorry I think I cannot make it,” “Suddenly got family thing,” “Not feeling well.” Bro, I was so pissed. Want to waste people’s time and money for what?

After that, she literally MIA (missing in action) for weeks. Total radio silence. I already written off the money and the girl. Then out of nowhere, on the actual night of the concert, she text me: “Hey, still going? I can make it already!”

At that point, I decided enough is enough. You want to play games right? Let’s play.

I decided to get my revenge. I replied nicely, acted like nothing happened, and met up with her. Throughout the whole concert, I played the perfect gentleman, buy drinks, act super sweet, pull out all the stops. Long story short, she fell for the act hook, line, and sinker. We ended up in a hotel, and I managed to “get her” that night.

Next morning? Immediate MIA. I ghosted her completely. Blocked on Telegram, unfollowed on IG. Gone.

My close friends say I went too far and that it’s damn toxic. But from my point of view, she wanted to play around and waste my time, so that’s all she’s good for. You treat people like an option, don’t cry when you get treated like a pit stop. If she was genuine from the start, I wouldn’t have done this.

Am I really the villain here or did she deserve the reality check? AITC (Am I The Chao-ah-beng)?
