GIRL JEALOUS BECAUSE HER BF SENT DM TO FEMALE INFLUENCER ON INSTAGRAM

A girl shared how her boyfriend sent a female influencer a DM asking her to marry him, and they then got into a huge fight over the “joke”.

Here is the story:

“My partner and I have been together for a long time and I’ve always thought that we are pretty stable. He’s never been the kind of guy who openly lust over influencers, unlike his friends who will talk about the various girls they are into.

Recent months though, he got to know more new friends and I sensed some changes in his behavior. He also began to mention this particular rising local influencer time to time, how he doesn’t get how she became so popular suddenly, how some guys like to openly flirt with her (some of these are married men), showed me some her posts and the thirsty replies she gets. He mentioned these things objectively, sometimes laughing about it. When we hang out with his friends, they mentioned this influencer as well.

I sensed that maybe my partner is into her as well but whatever. To me, it’s like having a crush on a celeb, like how he thinks Lisa is gorgeous or like how I think Ronaldo is super handsome. It was all fine until one day I discovered that he had sent a dm to this influencer asking her to marry him. Like wtf?

I guess the shock came from not expecting my partner to be this kind of guy. I got really upset about it and confronted him. He got defensive and said that it was a joke.

He explained that the influencer wrote a post asking her followers to send her a marriage proposal and he was only joking around with his friends.

We got into a huge argument. He refused to apologize because he didn’t think it was wrong. I am upset about it because of how he disrespected me by participating in it.
