A video has recently emerged on Tiktok posted by a Tiktoker who has decided to create a parody of the Ah Girls Go Army movie by Director Jack Neo.
In the parody video which the Tiktoker has titled, ‘Ah Gou Go Army’ which translates to ‘ah dog goes to army’, the Tiktoker first starts with a same scene as the original series, playing a ‘politician’ speaking in parliament about the declining birth rate situation in Singapore which leaves the state with no choice but to enlist dogs into the army.
The Tiktoker said:
‘Because there is a lack of BTO and hence there are lack of people which are willing to procreate, we will now have to enlist not just girls but also dogs.’
The video then cuts to the Tiktoker exclaiming to her pet dog that it now has to enlist into the army dramatically with the dog ‘exclaiming’ that it is so unlucky that it has to go to the armuy.
Fast forward a little bit more and we come to a scene where the ‘dog recruits’ are now forming up for a live grenade throwing exercise.
The Tiktoker who is now playing as a ‘commander’ now takes out the dog’s stuffed toy as the ‘grenade’ and warns them not to run after the ‘grenade’ saying that they are not playing ‘FETCH’ today.
The ‘dog recruits’ then echoed out the instructions of the ‘commander’.
After the ‘dog recruits’ are ready, the Tiktoker then throws the stuffed toy to which the dog runs after it and the Tiktoker exclaims out to the dog ‘No recruit we already say don’t go after the grenade!!’
The scene then ends with the Tiktoker going near the dog and shouting ‘NO RECRUIT NO’, before the ‘grenade’ explodes.
After the explosion scene, a parody song of the AH GIRLS GO ARMY movie is also sung in the sound of the ‘dog’ and that is the end of the parody.
