It was a typical Weekend night in town. My mum and I had decided to go out and enjoy the nightlife.
We had been at the bar for a few hours, enjoying a few drinks and catching up on life.
My mum and I had been exceptionally close since I was a child because my father had left us and so I was raised up all by her efforts.
That night, something happened that I could never have expected. I saw a guy across the room who caught my eye.
I couldn’t believe it – he was even more attractive than I had imagined when I first saw him. I couldn’t take my eyes off him.
My mum noticed my gaze and said, “Go on, go talk to him.” I was taken aback – I hadn’t expected her to be so supportive!
I looked at her in surprise and she said, “Go on, I’ll stay here and keep an eye out for you.”
I took a deep breath and walked over to where he was standing. We got talking and I felt like we had a real connection.
He was so easy to talk to and we had so much in common. We kept chatting for hours and it was clear that we liked each other.
Eventually, my mum came over and said it was time to go home. She gave us a knowing smile and said, “I think you two should exchange numbers.”
She was practically pushing us together, making way for us to hook up!
I was so embarrassed and I could feel my face turning red. But my mum just smiled and said, “It’s ok, I know you like him. I don’t mind.”
So, I gathered my courage and asked him for his number. He gladly gave it to me and we drank together with my mum for a bit.
After a few drinks, my mum winked to me and announced loudly that she had some friends to meet and asked us to continue our night.
It was clear that she knew that the guy and I were all ready to ‘mate.’
After my mum left, we engaged in a little bit of flirting and it eventually led to some kissing and touching.
We eventually went back home together to do ‘adult’ business.
It was one of the wildest nights of my life and till date I still cannot believe that my Mum had paved the way for me to hook up with the guy.
