GIRL RECEIVES HANDWRITTEN LETTER FROM GUY WHO HAS A CRUSH ON HER, SAYS IT’S CREEPY

A girl shared how she received a handwritten letter from a guy who has a crush on her, saying that it has “creepy vibes”.

She added that although she feels kind of flattered, she doesn’t know if she should feel creeped out about it since she has never spoken to the guy before.

She wrote that how is he to know how much she means to him when they haven’t even met? She added that she understands how he would’ve imagined a life with her because she used to do the same with a guy from JC that she liked.

FULL POST:

What would girls nowadays feel about receiving a nice handwritten letter from a guy who has a crush on you?

I just receive a letter from someone I don’t know personally, but we have a mutual friend. The letter is really well done and I kinda feel flattered although I don’t know whether I should feel creeped out about it since I have never spoken to the guy before.

He told me how he has had a crush on me since 2 years ago, and wasn’t brave enough to ask me directly. He wrote some nice things about me and my personality that he liked (I suspect it’s from Instagram and FB), and how I changed how he thought about his direction in life etc.

Even though some parts of the letter has creepy vibes, like how is he to know how much I mean to him when we haven’t even met? But I understand how he would’ve imagined a life with me and somehow that gives him an idea of how he wishes to do things in pursuit of that life? I felt the same way before about a guy in JC so I totally understand where he’s coming from.

I’m really on the fence about reaching out to him although I sincerely don’t think he’s a stalker. I know this because my mutual friend knows him very well (they were friends since primary school). He’s apparently a very nice guy who’s just shy because he has never approached a girl before. Yet, even with all the information, I am concerned about the warning signs that I could be missing.

Some advice would be helpful. Would a letter like that be sweet or creepy?
