A 16-year-old girl was arrested for allegedly slashing a 63-year-old driver’s throat after riding from Johor to Kuala Lumpur, according to Free Malaysia Today.
The incident happened in Malaysia.
The victim had picked up the girl from Johor on 13 April, via the Mycar app, and drove her all the way to Kuala Lumpur.
The girl had apparently agreed to pay him the fare of RM400 (which is about SGD$128).
However, the girl then refused to pay the fare for the trip after reaching the destination, telling the driver that she had no money.
The driver then decided to take her to the police station, to which the girl reacted by taking out a penknife and using it to slash the driver’s throat.
She then fled the scene, and the victim then drove down to the police station, where he was subsequently conveyed to the hospital.
The girl’s penknife was left behind in the car, and she was then arrested on 16 April at about 4.55am.
The case is currently still under investigation.
