I’m a durian lover like most of you. Previously the harvest of Mao Shan Wang was poor and due to low amount of fruits available on the market the durian prices soar like never before. It was over $40/kg. Previously the prices of durian were high due to the constant wet weather in mid year that cause low harvest.
Durian vendors are also facing competition as the prices of durian were so hard business goes really bad. But the time have come. In the few coming weeks expect Mao Shan Wang to be sold as low as $15/KG.
Harvest from Muar and Pahan will be coming in to Singapore as harvest are getting better.
