A reader requested us to post this to thank an honest commuter and SMRT staff for their honesty.
The SMRT staff even went to the person’s home and informed her that the purse has been found.
Here is the story:
Posting on behalf of aunt as per her request:To the person whom picked up my red purse between 7:30pm – 8pm on 15 March 2021 at Yishun street 72.
I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing it to Yishun MRT and handing it over to the SMRT staff. All the important stuff were in there and I was really worried and upset. *Nothing was missing, not even the cash*To add on, thank you SMRT for training your staff well, and thank you makcik who was on duty at Yishun MRT station.
You took the initiative to walk to my doorstep, just to inform me that someone picked up my purse, left it with you guys, and even escorted me to the station to pick it up. It was a gesture that really surprised me as you could have just handed it over to the police station instead.
Guys, Please do help share this post so that the person whom picked up the purse would be able to see this thank you message. Humanity restored guys
