A 38 year old GrabFood rider was hospitalized after he was hit by a car while riding his bicycle in Tampines on Frday (June 12).

The impact was so great that his bicycle was broken in two and his GrabFood delivery bag was flung to the grass patch nearby.
There were many passers-by surrounding the injured rider and some could be seen tending to the him.
“The 38-year-old male cyclist was conscious when conveyed to Changi General Hospital,” a police spokesman said.
Police investigations are ongoing.
