TikTok user and Grabfood delivery rider Ifah Wan, posted a video on 23 February where he ranted about Grabfood riders like himself being looked down on by others.
He said that the beginning that he doesn’t have basic salary, but asked his viewers “but then do you know how much is our salary on average?’
He then went on to break down his earnings, saying that if the Grabfood delivery riders were to work for about 8 to 10 hours a day without stopping, they can “easily” bring home $6,500 per month.
And he also added that riders don’t even have to work 7 days a week, “you can actually work 4 days a week but longer hours.”
Summing up his video, he told people “please don’t look down on us because maybe our salary bis much more than yours.”
Update: Ifah has since taken down his TikTok video following backlash from netizens who called him out for purportedly boasting and looking down on others.
