
On Friday (11 Sep), Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan has made a joint announcement with our Japanese counterpart that the negotiations for a Reciprocal Green Lane between Singapore and Japan have been concluded.

The Reciprocal Green Lane travel will only be open to business travellers only and it will start on the 18 Sep 2020. Both countries enter into such an agreement in view of helping one another with their economic recovery.
Safety measures will be in place to protect travellers. These safety measures include pre-departure and post-arrival testing and adhering to a controlled itinerary for the first 14 days in receiving country.
