A guy who is presumably a rider with Food Delivery platform, Grab Food, has posted on his social media page that he received a job worth $5.90 from the delivery app asking him to pick up an order from a merchant.
Without checking or suspecting anything, the guy headed over to the merchant, thinking that it will just be a routine order.
However to his surprise, when he reached the merchant, he discovered that the items which he is supposed to collect for delivery were 24 bottles of Mineral Water, each containing 1.5 litres of water.
When he tried to tell the merchant that he is unable to fit the whole order in his delivery bag or carry it while riding as it will pose a road hazard, the merchant told him that others have done it before.
He then told her that it is impossible for motorbikes and below to do this delivery unless the delivery is picked up by a Grab Food Driver instead.
He then said that he will cancel the order but the next rider who comes in will probably also refuse to pick up the order and the order will just stay in the shop.
In the end, the rider said that he called Grab support and explained the issue and thankfully, Grab support helped to give him another order.

Told her this cant fit in my biggest grab bag, i tried carrying one i think it will ruin my grab bag or pose safety hazard on road.
Told her not possible unless car. I can cancel but next one likely wont do it, it will just stay there.
In the end i called cs and told her about this, she relocate other orders to me”
