1st time kanna this. Rider claimed a friend booked on behalf of him. Then when we’re at a Raffles Place traffic junction, he called his friend and suddenly said “I’ll alight here instead.” So I instintively told him to be careful when alighting and to have fun. As the traffic lights turned green, I had to continue driving and find a safe spot to stop and end his trip. Then I realised, alamak, CASH payment! I called Grab and they said will msg him (or rather his friend) to transfer to my bank ac. It’s been 1 day and still no news.
There goes my $13, Grabshare somemore! Now I don’t even know whether his “friend” exists or not. and whether this is his trick or he genuinely forgot to pay (or he thought his friend paid using Grabpay). It’s partly my fault too for not checking the payment mode before he jumped off hurriedly. Sigh.
Anybody fetch this young indian chap from Blk 153, AMK Ave 5 before? Or any similar experience?
