GUY BEING HARASSED ON THE STREET BY YOUTHS, SHOUTING: “OI BOTAK! BOTAK!”

A video emerged online showing a group of youths harassing a man who was minding his own business on the street.

The group was seen filming the man and shouting at him, calling him “oi botak” in an attempt to make fun of his baldness.

Potential penalties

Anyone who makes any noise in excess that is likely to cause annoyance or inconvenience to others in the vicinity or in any public setting could face fines of up to $1,000.

Persons found guilty of causing intentional harassment faces a fine of up to $5,000 and/or a jail term of up to 6 months.
