GUY BUYS TV FROM LAZADA, RECEIVES A LETTER WISHING HIM A HAPPY LIFE, INSTEAD OF TV

A disgruntled buyer shared on Facebook about how he got scammed on Lazada.

Cris Ng wrote that he ordered a Xiaomi TV from Lazada for $261, and all he received was a letter from the seller. (Reading the letter actually hurt my brain, you can see it for yourself below)

So he contacted Lazada help centre and submitted a refund request, and it came with a case number.

He was then assured that the refund would be processed.

However, he then received 2 emails saying that there is a duplicate case number and as a result, both cases will be closed.

Ng then checked his Lazada app and saw that his refund request is rejected.

So he waited 2 more days before deciding to contact them again, to which Lazada issued him with a new case number.

They told him that his case has been sent to a relevant department and assured him that he would be updated.

Ng also highlighted that Lazada’s help centre is “super duper quick” to close the chat with customers and label their cases as closed and solved.

Ng asked them how they plan to follow up with his request but they couldn’t give him an answer, they then closed the chat with him and once again, he saw that his refund is rejected even though he was told that another department was handling it.

He tried again a 3rd time and his refund request is rejected again.

Ng said that he’ll be making a police report for illegal scam and that he is never shopping with Lazada anymore.
