How to avoid pushy insurance agents?
Advertisements
Got a call from an insurance agent wanting to sell some investment scheme, and somehow got suckered into agreeing to a call with her.
Later decided to cancel on her, but she proceeded to guilt trip me by saying she had other stuff she could’ve been doing (yea, me too) and keeps asking to reschedule.
How should I Siam her once and for all?

- ez. straight up block her number or whatsapp.
peace of mind. - Just say no not interested don’t call again. What’s so hard about being assertive in such situations
- Buy their product and they will disappear. Totally gone. Even if you try calling them to ask anything. They will not be there.
- Just say “please stop contacting me”. if they still contact then block. still cannot then email her company, say she harassing. confirm works.
- Your “Yeah, me too” would have been the perfect answer to that guilt tripping lady 🤣 just leave her be, you don’t owe her anything and next time if you’re 100% sure you’re not interested reject them right away
- This time you already gave your consent, so just ignore the call.
Next time, better register your number to Do Not Call, there is 30 days iirc grace period though. I believe insurance agents shouldn’t have called you next time, since i believe they are not allowed once you are DNC registered CMIIW guys - But just for life in general, don’t become a people pleaser. Say no when you want to say no, don’t compromise just because you feel bad and get guilt tripped. It’s a life skill.
- “This is an automated reply. The recipient you are trying to reach has since rescinded any form of consent to marketing calls. Any further contact henceforth will be reported to the PDPC as a breach of prevailing laws on the DNC registry. Thank you.”
- I’m not interested at this stage of my life, shall we not waste each other’s time so I can have my peace and you can continue scamming others.
