My girlfriend says I’m lazy and should get a job. I don’t want to. Advice?
My (28m) girlfriend (26f) have been together for 3 years now and didn’t have any issues for the first two, however since moving in with me my girlfriend has more and more been calling me lazy because I don’t work and I don’t want to get a job.
However, I’m not living off her income, I sold a company for a significant amount of money a few months before meeting her so since I’ve known her I’ve lived off the interest making about the same as an average wage.
I pretty much stay at home all day playing games, working out, doing whatever I want while she goes to work. I do do all our household chores, I’m not completely useless
She thinks I should go to work to basically get money to “boost” our lifestyle. But I won’t enjoy that, and im content with the life I can afford.
I don’t know if she’s jealous, maybe she’s right, or as I feel she’s expecting too much.
Any advice, because I love her a lot, but it’s getting to the point something needs to change.
