Anyone else has experience of getting scammed?
so im a sec 4 student who recently tried selling my textbooks on carousell and this buyer claimed to hv paid for one of my books and he soon became super impatient about stuffs and i was panicking as i was new to carousell so i just pressed on a link that was sent to my email to “verify” his purchases and it needed a credit card.
As i did not hv a credit card i used my sister’s one and within seconds,my sister has been scammed $800 and now i feel super guilty cos she worked really hard for the money, and ik im stupid too for believing in smt that asked for credit card number and infos,
i hv learned my lesson and in debt to my sister🥲 but it was my fault for being so stupid and gullible so i cant blame anyone.
