Not my job, but work in general. The concept of work is just f-ing wrong. You f-ing live once, why would you waste 80% of your life working?
Why don’t you get the chance to enjoy every day fully in whatever you like? Why work in order to live? Why this f-d up stupid social order?
F- waking up everyday to drag yourself to go and be slaved. If not to an employer be slaved for the f-ing system. F- the system

- I feel you. I just took a week off of work for a staycation because I can’t afford a real vacation (my pto hours are racking up because I save it up for sick days and doctors appointments). It was nice to be able to sleep in and have energy to cook things I wanted to and spend time with my kids. It sucks to do the math and realize how much time I’m missing out on my kids.
- It never used to bother me because I thought I was working towards financial security, home ownership, and eventual retirement. In the last few years I’ve realized that no matter how hard I work, those things are likely never going to happen, despite the fact that I’m an engineer, traditionally a well-paid job. All I’m working for now is to be able to afford to live another day to work some more, and when the day comes that I’m too old to work I expect the poverty will come on fast.
- You’re right in the sense that working constantly is not truly living life, yet the reality of it is that we have to work to meet the bare minimum needs of shelter, food, clothing, and utilities.
I used to be mad about it. But I just don’t have the time to, I know what will happen if I continue to focus on anger, especially in a time where the economy will swallow you up into poverty if you don’t make enough money for the basics. I’m scared of this economy, after the pandemic, it’s like a bubble getting ready to bust. And if that bubble burst, so many people will be out of work or homeless and unable to meet even their basic needs. Hell, I have an interview for a 3rd job next week, I am already juggling 2 jobs. - Jobs are just kind of there to serve the community and give people something to do so we aren’t getting in trouble tbh
