GUY INTRODUCED HIS GIRLFRIEND AS HIS “FRIEND” AT A CONVENTION

my boyfriend introduced me as his friend to a few woman at a convention. How do I address this without seeming insecure or fighting?

My(31f) boyfriend(29m) of 7 months and I went on our first trip this weekend to a convention. It’s been great and we’ve had a great time.

However twice today he introduced me to women friends as his friend. I let it go the first time because he was introducing a few people at once but the second time it started kind of confusing me and hurting my feelings.

Especially because last night we had already met this girl and he had been a little loopy and his first question to her was “are you here with anyone?”

With some pretty direct body language. I brushed that off to because I honestly am very secure and trusting with this relationship and he’s normally super considerate and respectful and didn’t want to make a big deal out of him being a little out of it.

Tonight we ran back into her and not only did he again introduce me as his friend, I I also got some super rude vibes from the girl.

She pretended we hadn’t met before and contradicted me a bunch over some pretty petty things like a chess mistake being a “blunder” not an “oopsy” and other really unnecessary things.

I excused myself eventually, giving my boyfriend a big loud forehead kiss on my way because well, I can be a little petty I guess.

But now I’m trying to figure out how to bring up to him how disrespectful and uncomfortable this came off to me.
