When i was in polytechnic, i had a indonesian female classmate who comes from a rich family. Let us call her veronica. We were close and always help each other in our school work. Her looks is 5/10. I didn’t try to woo her even though she is single because i thought i was still young and i will be able to find a chio gf in future. We were same age.
After we graduate, we lost contact as she went to australia to take a degree while i go ns.
When i was 29 years old, i saw her again on the streets. We reconnected. She was still single. I started joining speedating events to try to find a gf but never thought of wooing her as i find her looks to be only 5/10.

Me: i only earn 2k+ a month. So far i already spend about 6k to join dating agencies including expensive 1 to 1 matches
She: you don’t earn alot but you are willing to spend money on yourself.
I hear liao i feel that she look down on me as i earn less than her.
Me: i prefer not to have kids. What about you.
She: haven’t thought of this yet. You seem to hate kids?
Me: no lah. I don’t earn alot so prefer not to have kids.
She: hehe. You seem to think alot.
I felt that we don’t really click so i never ask her out again. A few months later, i saw her post pictures of she and her new bf in facebook. 1 year later, she invited me to her wedding.
Me: actually can i ask you that time is it u don’t like me after our 1st meeting?
She: i feel that we are more like friends. You also never ask me out again so i thought you are not interested.
Me: you commented that i don’t earn alot but i am willing to spend money on myself. I thought you hiam i earn less than you so i didn’t ask you out again.
She: i don’t remember saying this. If you don’t earn alot is ok. We can together work hard for our future.
Today i saw her posting pictures of her 2 babies with her husband in facebook.
Now let us come back to my polytechnic friend veronica.
Fast forward to 2019, she invited me to her wedding.
At her wedding, another polytechnic friend told me when veronica came back to Singapore to work after she completed her degree, she was single. She paid 3k to join lunch actually dating agency and this is how she met her husband.
Today i become a old virgin uncle. I regretted not wooing veronica and grace. Especially veronica whom i know since polytechnic and we clicked well and somemore she come from rich family. Her father gave her a condominium to stay in singapore.
