A video emerged online shownig a man trying to rent out a tiny space in the corner of a room inside a HDB apartment.
The man said that he was trying to help his friend rent out the “bed space”, which comprises of a mattress placed on the floor beside the toilet.
He says that it is a very small space but it is “very affordable and most importantly, only a few minutes walk away from Bedok MRT”.
He described it as being “perfect for someone who is working long hours and just need somewhere cheap to rest after work”.
He said that it looks “very cozy and comfortable” and asked the viewer to visualize themselves sleeping there, “wah very shiok right”.
He then tried to entice the potential buyers by highlighting how the toilet is “very nearby”, with the toilet located right beside the mattress, “so you can sleep straight away after bathing”.
He revealed that any potential tenant will be sharing the space with his friend, with a “full curtain” separating them for “full privacy”.
The space is going out for rent, for $499 per month.
Honestly, I would rather live in the void deck and sleep beside the rubbish chute and save on the $499 than rent this space, but that’s just me.
