A netizen shared how he was doing guard duty during his NS with his buddy.
They were prowling the camp grounds in a very dark area with nothing but vegetation surrounding it.
His buddy then started chain smoking, which he didn’t find odd because it was normal for guys to smoke when they’re prowling during guard duty (as long as you don’t get caught).
However, he noticed that his buddy was smoking like a chimney, lighting cigarette after cigarette and looking visibly disturbed.
After their shift was over and they returned to the guard room, he asked his buddy what happened and why was he smoking so much.
Hie buddy told him that he saw a figure behind them and smelled a very strong scent of frangipanis, which is the flower smell that is commonly associated with pontianaks who are in the vicinity.
The smell was following them around.
But the netizen said he didn’t smell any frangipanis.
