A Facebook user Michael Kwok, shared how he was at Decathlon Singapore Lab at Kallang to shop for some sporting equipment with his friends.
They were strolling towards the “ball section” when suddenly, something hard flew over and hit him in his nose area from his left.
He ended up losing his balance and felt dizzy after falling down onto the floor and feeling an excruciating sharp pain from his nose.
Blood was flowing from his nose non-stop as a palm sized puddle of blood formed beside his face as he laid on the ground.
Fortunately, an off-duty nurse was present at the time and rendered aid to the stricken man, and the Decathlon staff called the ambulance.
The staff informed him that it was a golf ball that hit him.
By the time Kwok was brought into the ambulance, he felt very cold and was shivering nonstop but was conscious when sent to the A&E.
X-rays showed that he suffered a bone fracture at his nasal bridge (or nose bridge), and his nose is now crooked (picture Owen Wilson).
Kwok questioned Decathlon for allowing the testing of golf balls with a golf club in a closed up area.
At the time of writing, Kwok is still waiting for Decathlon to reach out to him.
