I went out dancing with a friend last night, we had a lot of fun until a dude came on strong and started trying to dance with/at us.
We gave him the normal cues of “no thank you” and shook our heads, he didn’t go away. We danced away from him, he followed us. We couldn’t get rid of him. We kept telling him to stop and leave us alone, but he wouldn’t do that, and I got really pissed and loud about it too.
We then left the dance floor and he kept following us, suddenly a random man (that must’ve seen some of it) came up to him and told him to stop. Once. The dude then left and he didn’t do anything for the rest of the night (at least to us).
Am I thankful for this random bloke saying something? Yes.
Am I pissed that he only had to tell him stop once and it immediately worked? Yes.
Men don’t care about women’s opinions and boundaries, they only care about men.

Had a situation at a bar where my female friend got shoved by a man almost down to the ground. Long story short, the manager (a man) didn’t want to believe her or me and our friends until her boyfriend came up and told the manager what happened to which he responded: “oh I didn’t know it had escalated to that point I’m sorry”. Like wtfff we literally have been telling you that. We left immediately.
