All three accused may have their current charges upgraded, including to capital ones, which carry the death penalty.
The trio are being accused of hitting Ms Huang with a wooden pole at a Clementi HDB unit on 4 May at around 11pm.
Both Huang and Lim are Singaporeans, while Chee is a Singapore PR.
