
Ma Changjin, a 51-year-old Chinese national was caught in the act when police raided a massage outlet and found him having sex with a masseuse.
The married man pleaded guilty to meeting another person in public not from his household and was fined S$2,000 on 9 March.
Two other similar charges under the Covid-19 (Temporary Measures) act, were taken into consideration.
At the time of his offence, no one was permitted to meet in public without a valid reason if they were not living in the same household.
He made an appointment to meet Zhang Shaohui, 52-year-old, at a massage parlour in People’s Park Centre for a “massage and sexual intercourse”.
The two chatted before Zhang ruibbed his belly with massage oil, they then had sex for about 15 minutes without wearing masks.
They were caught in the act when police officers conducted an inspection at the premises.
