He wrote that he was sleeping on the top bunk of a double decker bed, while his “annoying but funny” buddy slept on the lower deck.
One night, at about 2am, he was woken up from his sleep by violent shaking from the lower deck of the bed.
He shouted at his buddy:
“OI DON’T PLAY LAH!”

There was no one there.
It then dawned on him and he suddenly remembered that his buddy was clearing his annual leave and wasn’t even in the camp that day.
