I prefer to keep my identity secret for this.
I am abstaining from sex until I am married.
When I was 22, my visit with the OB Gynecologist (as part of the recommended checkups from my Annual Medical Exam) had a short interview and I was asked about my sex life.
“Have you had sex recently?”
“No.”
She didn’t believe that the first time as it was proven when she circled back to it two minutes later.
“No. I have not had sex ever.”
Her face was in disbelief.
That was all I was going to give her. I do not have to explain my personal choices.
I felt embarrassed and annoyed to have to state it again. Why would I lie to a doctor? It’s my health at stake here.
Many virgins do not fit that stereotype of conservative clothing, shyness, and aversion to extreme physical activities.
I dress sexy. Love my midriffs, shorts, and bikinis!
I can talk to anybody and adjust the intensity of my personality based on who I’m with.
I enjoy pants-shitting stuff. Rollercoasters, parasailing, sand dune surfing, and now targeting to go skydiving.
I have nothing against women who opt to have sex before marriage. Just don’t stick your nose in my personal principles and we’re good.
I guess that OB had the cliche assumption from how I look.
