HAND DRYERS IN TOILETS SPREAD BACTERIA. SCIENTIST THINK ITS A HEALTH THREAT

I chance upon this article by researchers from the University of Leeds (England) that hand dryers in toilets are far from clean.

What the hand dryer does its blowing bacteria from one’s hands and spread the bacteria into the air. An experiment was conducted paper towels vs air dryers.

A shocking result that, hand dryers actually spread up to 27 times the amount of bacteria in the toilet compared to paper towels.

Air dryers are everywhere in Singapore, I wonder if there is a regulation or any studies done by the HSA on public toilet safety standards.
