No More Ransomware
25 Jul 2017 marks the 1st anniversary of the No More Ransom (NMR) initiative, of which SPF is a supporting partner. The initiative has grown from its initial 4 partners to 109 partners today.
Besides up-to-date prevention tips on ransomware, the site now carries 54 decryption tools which have decrypted more than 28,000 devices, depriving cybercriminals of an estimated EUR 8 million in ransoms. The portal has been visited by more than 1.3 million unique visitors. In a single day on 14 May 2017, during the WannaCry crisis, the website was accessed by about 150,000 people.
The No More Ransom platform is now available in 26 languages, including Chinese, Malay and Tamil.
