A staff at Timbre+ at One North, Shuang Kou Mian, gave away 45 packets of noodles after a customer complained that it took too long to prepare and cancelled the order.
The hawker posted the generous offer on the Facebook group Hawkers United – Dabao 2020, saying that it took them an hour to prepare the 45 packets of food.
But the customer lost their patience at having to wait, and cancelled the order – and the hawker then decided to give it all away.
The stall also shared that the GrabFood rider had allegedly thrown the packets of food back at them.
Here is what they said
Would like to give these 45 packets noodles out for free to anyone who wants! Or donate it to anyone in need No questions asked! we feel it would be a waste to throw
Available today from now till 7pm-7:30pm
Timbre plus #01-11
These noodles are all clean but cooked during lunch time. Was an order on grab but order was cancelled unfortunately because we took 60mins to cook and pack 45 packets of noodles
Some of the noodles are toppled inside the container due to the driver throwing the noodles back at us.. but dont worry it is all clean and never come out of the container!
Update: Thanks everyone who enquired to help us not waste food! All the noodles has been taken! To anyone in need, we have been doing this belanja eat activity for awhile now, many many kind donors! If you know anyone in need plz feel free to come redeem limited to 1 bowl per person per day

- I think the person who ordered 45 servings of noodles has no clue how long it takes to prepare! The order should have factored in at least 1.5 hours! Jeez! So inconsiderate.
- Is there a way to ban these people from ordering food delivery again? Ridiculous!!!
- who ever ordered this please pay up !!! Grab shouldn’t allow this to happen. Any restaurant will need lead time to cook that many bowls of noodles.
- Even I cook Maggie mee also need 225 minutes to be done with 45 packs of noodle. The customer crazy one.
