A photo surfaced on Instagram showing a HDB block’s wall being badly burned by joss candles placed right in front of it.

There were ashes of burned joss papers beside the wall as well as small offerings of crackers.
There was purportedly a burner bin nearby but the person who burned the joss papers chose to burn it on the floor instead.
The incident was purported to have happened at Block 54, Toa Payoh Lorong 5.
