HK SCAMMER COME SG SELL COUNTERFEIT WATCHES AMOUNT TO ALMOST SGD$19,000

Scammer duo came to Singapore and successfully scammed four local shops out of $18,900 after pretending as a tourist that lost money in the Casino and wanted to sell watches to get back some of the money to gamble again.

The duo were father and son’s that had bought several imitation watches before coming to SIngapore to do this. The duo went to shops from Lucky Plaza, Bencoolen and several watch shop places to sell the imitation watch.

After successfully making the sale. The shop owners later found out that the watches were not authentic. Police reports were lodged against the duo and they were eventually caught and sentenced to 14 Months jail.
