To close for good on 12 March
According to a post on the H&M Facebook page, the fashion chain store announced that they will be closing their ION Orchard store for good come 12 March.

H&M currently also boasts nine stores in Singapore.
Its first store in Singapore is just down the road from ION, at Orchard Building.
Opened its doors in 2012
H&M’s ION Orchard store was the fashion chain’s second store in Singapore.
It opened its doors to the public on 28 November 2012, where large crowds were seen queuing outside in orderly fashion to gain entry into the shop.
The ION orchard outlet also boasts two levels of fashion goods and had a total floor area of over 20,000 square feet.

Shut down its Tampines & Punggol outlets previously
Previously, H&M announced that it would be shutting down about 250 stores worldwide.
This included the shutting of its Tampines Mall outlet in August 2020 which was in business for about five years and also its Waterway Point outlet back in January 2021.
