A horrific accident happened along Tampines on 23 December at around 11pm, involving a Mercedes that was allegedly speeding.
The Mercedes was seen traveling at a very high speed before crashing through 4 other vehicles across 3 lanes, with the accident looking very bad for the motorists involved.
At least 4 ambulances and 3 fire engines were seen deployed to the accident site, with one of the drivers having to be extricated from his vehicle.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing the Mercedes speeding along Tampines Avenue 1 before losing control of the car.
The speeding Mercedes then crashed into the vehicles that were waiting for the traffic light at Avenue 10.
At the time of writing, the conditions of the drivers and motorcyclists involved are unclear.
Update: A 59-year-old driver has died from his injuries sustained at the accident that happened at the junction of Tampines Avenue 10 and 1.
Four other motorists between the ages of 22 and 38 were also hurt in the fatal accident.
A 33-year-old man has also been arrested for drink-driving.
