HOUSEWIFE IN PASIR RIS WAS HIT BY E-SCOOTER RIDER,18 BEING CHARGED

On Oct 4 it is reported that for causing serious injury to a housewife while riding on on e-scooter a teenager was charged in court.

Nicholas Ting Nai Jie, 18, is suspect of seriously injuring Madam Ang Liu Kiow by being on the e-scooter along a roadway in a row through the opposite of a bus stop in Pasir Ris Drive 1, knocking into the 54-year-old woman and causing deadly head injuries.

The offense was reported to happen at 10.06am on Sept 17, 2016.

Prior reports said that Madam Ang was hospitalized for three months, and had various smaller than normal strokes and two cerebrum operations.

On Nov 1 Ting is expected to return to court
