HSA FOUND ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION MEDS IN CANDY & STEROIDS IN DRINK

The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) is warning consumers not to buy or consume three kinds of products. These items included strong medical substances that might cause significant side effects, said HSA.

‘C4 Candy’
‘Coco Hotz Cocoa Drink’Dexamethasone – a potent steroid

The items were previously listed on various online shopping and social platforms such as Shopee, Carousell, Lazada, Instagram, Facebook and Qoo10.

HSA has notified them to remove the listings of this product.

Miracle Gold Candy & C4 Candy

After identifying imports of ‘Miracle Gold Candy,’ officers from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) notified the HSA. The HSA was notified about ‘C4 Candy’ by a member of the public.

Both the products were marketed as men health enhancers and HSA tested the products and found out that the product contains Tadalafil.

Coco Hotz Cocoa Drink

The product was marketed as a weight lost product and HSA found that it actually contains dexamethasone, a potent steroid
