A video emerged online showing a disturbingly huge crowd gathering in the street at what appears to be Clarke Quay for last night’s New Year’s countdown.
A man was seen stadium on an elevated surface and shouting, trying to get the crowd hyped up and they started singing the theme song of Spongebob Squarepants.
He was seen in another video with a bottle of what appears to be alcohol in his hand, as he splashed it on the people surrounding him.
Most of the people in the group were seen without their masks on and tightly packed together.
