TikTok user @abgzack591 managed to capture this event, sharing a video that showcased multiple spots within the cemetery engulfed in flames. This occurrence was nothing short of eerie.

Amidst the inferno, a police vehicle could be seen in the vicinity.
The netizen shared that the video was recorded at approximately 10 pm on October 15, 2023, and was presumably taken while he was passing by the area.
Furthermore, another TikTok user, @mxhdnxh, contributed to the narrative by sharing a close-up view of the fire, pairing the video with music from Spongebob.

Plumes of smoke billowed from the grassy plots that had been set ablaze, providing viewers with an up-close and personal perspective of the chaos.
Multiple police cars and SCDF vehicles were also seen at the scene, both on the road and on the grass patch as well, according to a video shared by @boulevardofdreams_

The SCDF’s Swift Action
The SCDF said that they received a call for help on 15 October at about 7.25pm in the evening, about a fire that broke out near Path 13 at the Lim Chu Kang Chinese Cemetery.
The fire was put out by the SCDF using 2 water hose reels, and investigations into the cause of the fire are currently underway.
No injuries or casualties were reported from the incident.
Recent fires
Another fire had also broken out on Sunday, at a HDB block at Block 872A Tampines Street 86, where two people were rescued from the window ledge of a HDB unit on the 5th floor.
