A woman shared her heartbreaking story online after her husband decides on adopting a child instead of having a child of their own when both of them are in perfect health conditions to have a child.
Here is the story:
Both my husband and I are planning on having a child, but what he had in mind was different from the mind. Last night I told my husband to stop using protection according to my calculation it was the perfect day to get conceive.
He was shocked and told me that his intention on having a child is via adoption. I then asked him why he wanted to adopt he started making a lot of excuses that does not make sense such as the medical bills are expensive and I have to go through pain.
I then told him that both of us has a good income and a healthy amount of savings. He brushed me off and cover the blanket over his head.
The next day, I confronted him again and he rushed off to work leaving home earlier.
When he was finally home I sat down at the living room table waiting for the door to open. I told him to sit down and talk about it. He said the real reason was that he felt that my genes were not superior enough.
He said that I was too dumb and he do not want to take care of dumb kids. Putting the insults aside, I asked him how can he identify a child’s intelligence from adoption. He said he could tell… It’s true that he read people very well and he will definitely be able to identify but I told him I still want my own child.
I told him that maybe the child will inherit his “smart” genes. He then told me he doesn’t like to leave things to chances. He said that his friend and 3 other sisters are all dumb just like his mother and only 1 of his sister got the “smart” genes from the father.
