But last night he said to me, “you shouldn’t have bought me anything. I would have preferred getting frisky in bed”.
I didn’t know what to say at first. So I said “but that’s not special”
He told me “you are special to me. I can buy myself what I want. Next year just take your clothes off”
I just nodded. I felt self conscious.
