He had to have planned the “recovery” time and the excuses for where he was. If he can hide a $4,000 medical procedure for months, what else can be tucked away?
- The Omission: He didn’t just forget to mention it; he actively chose not to tell me, likely because he knew how it would look given our current financial arrangement.
I feel like a “bank” rather than a partner. I’m struggling to bridge the gap between the man I thought was my teammate and the man who kept a secret file on his own life while I paid for his seat at the table.
